about me Lisbeth Williams
Founder and editor Lisbeth Williams is a Swedish artist, author, educator and interior design consultant currently living in the west of Sweden.
When I started blogging some 5+ years ago, it was a way to communicate with my clients: to show items that may be of interest and work well within the framework we had agreed.
Now I've shifted my focus somewhat. Starting 2012 will be blogging more on visual inspiration of all kinds. Hope you'll tag along and follow me around the world of art, photography and design.
LOOKING BACK: Art and architecture has always been my professional focus. Trained in Sweden and Italy, I've worked as an researcher and professor at the Dept. of Architecture at Chalmers in Göteborg and KTH in Stockholm, and for a few yaers I also worked as an Editor-in-chief for an Architecture Magazine.
I founded and edited several websites on art and architecture already in the 1990s and started blogging about ten years later. This ad free blog was launched 2009 as a place to collect and discuss ideas on design and interior decoration. My readers comes from all over the world, mainly from America, Europe and Australia.
Blogging is just part of my work. I also give courses on interior design (history and current trends), on art and architecture and on color trends. You'll find more info on my interior design courses here. If you want to reach me, just send an email to designskolan(at)gmail.com
I currently run three blogs. My other blogs are:
Wabi Sabi, which focuses on timeless and natural interior design, and
Inredningskurser, a blog about my interior design courses.
